ADAPT offers a variety of stimulating workshops designed for those working in the field of addiction. These cover such topics as relapse prevention, group facilitation, supervision, stress management, all of which are mapped to DANOS.
A highly successful, externally validated course, (CPCAB) Certificate in Counselling Skills, Working with Addiction, is also being presented at the Eastern Area office in Great Yarmouth, and the East Midlands office at Nottingham. These are delivered on an annual basis.
All courses are available to outside agencies as well as ADAPT staff, and have proved to be invaluable for both personal and professional development.
